As fucking brilliant as the first volume was, As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 is the one that got the most attention. Not only is it the only "official" release in the series (all are considered bootlegs even though the rights have been obtained for most of the music) and thus more widely available, but it's simply fucking preposterous how good it is! Some bits from the first volume resurface on this album, including the famous Stooges/Salt 'N Pepa mash up and Hanayo's completely warped version of Vanessa Paradis' Joe Le Taxi, but these are so fun that the repetition hardly matters. I remember being fascinated by the odd choices the brothers would make for particular mash-ups (I mean... Peaches and The Velvet Underground... COME ON!!! WOW!!! It's practically Dante-esque with it's layers of insight)! There's a surprise a second throughout the set (and even some hidden songs), making this an absolute must! Now go get! GO I SAY! GO!!
