This is the last volume in the As Heard On Radio Soulwax series to be attributed to 2 Many DJ's, all subsequent albums are apparently fans of 2 Many DJ's who have created similar mash-ups and released them under the same series to cash in it's success. It's all quite confusing as the whole series is up on the DJ's own website with little clarification as to who is responsible for everything. This one again compiles Hang The DJ sessions for Studio Brussel and it is unfortunately the least interesting of the lot yet. There are some interesting mash-ups here and there, but none that really catch my attention. The brothers juxtapose songs with fun similarities (Beck's Salt In The Wound and The Beatles' Taxman for example), but this feels more like an inside joke than truly danceable and addictive music. I just don't feel the magic anymore. There are fun moments, but none of them come close to the earlier mix sessions. Fun, but far from necessary.
