Album Cover

This is a weird one! The opening track sounds like those old sound poetry recordings (think Åke Hodell) mixed with recent electronic sounds. All tracks blend into one long coherent track. After Certain Distance, the album takes the shape of a drum'n'bass nightmare; drum machines are being abused under minimalist melodies (especially on Cloud 9 and Le Nom De Statue. As time passes however, the recording morphs into more primitive industrial sounds with very subtle hints of jazzy lounge (starting with Casagemas - the samples on this track are beyond bizarre!). The last track, No Focus, is included on the Madam I'm Adam double CD compilation and it gives a good idea of what to expect when you put this one on. This isn't one of my favorite Airkasinen recordings, but it's still better than average.
