This is an interesting one. The sounds on the opening Stately, Plump are very chaotic and mix both live instruments (tibetan singing bowls?) and programmed samples. It's a complete mess, but it keeps your attention throughout. You get more madness on A Shout In The Street which includes one of the craziest intros I've heard in the artist's discography (a big beat rhythm does surface later, but it's interrupted by layers and layers of messy goodness!). If you like your Airaksinen albums on the more bizarre side of the scale, than this one is for you. If you can get past the dance and break beats that come up here and there, there's quite enough off-the-wall noise and chaos to mess with your brain. One-Eyed is a personal favorite of mine as it borders on dark ambient territory. Definitely one to include on your "to get" list if you are interesting in discovering this man's music.
