Album Cover

This album is comprised of recordings made during Airaksinen's Buddhas Of Golden Light period. The Roland TR-808 is once again used profusely throughout, in fact, both albums are so alike, you couldn't be blamed for mistaking one for the other (although Antero Helander's saxophone is absent here). All tracks are once again translations from sanskrit and have roots in buddhism (which, if you hadn't noticed yet, has had a huge influence on Airaksninen's work. The second track, Kanakamuni, has a really fun shimmering psychedelic intro, but it doesn't last very long. I actually prefer this recording to Buddhas as the sounds here are just way more out there. If you can get past the cheesy facade, there is plenty of primitive weirdness to be appreciated here. Imagine yourselves Jandek behind a synth!
