Aix Em Klemm
What happens when you mix one third of Labradford with one half of Stars Of The Lid? Why you get the one-off ambient drone monster that is Aix Em Klemm of course! Filled with beautiful, shimmering strings, richly textured ambient drones and mysterious beats and background noises, the Aix Em Klemm sound is pretty much exactly what one might expect from such a collaboration! Lack of surprises aside however, the duo are no less fantastic than they are in their respectful groups and fans should definitely not miss out on this one. It's sad there hasn't been any news of a follow-up album ever since they surfaced in the first place. I've been wanting to get this album back for the longest of time, but didn't want to pay the full price once again (although it's absolutely worth it for you ambient fans), so it literally took years before I found a used copy at a low price. Won't be letting go of it again anytime soon!
