This is one of those rare cases where you just know the album is going to be good no matter what! How can you go wrong when you've got two of the post-rock/ambient scene's most veneered talents bumping heads together? The music on this one-off side project is absolutely gorgeous and just what you might expect from these two: dreamy, luscious drones, whispered vocals, slowly evolving melodies, bizarre percussion and guitar riffs that take light years to complete. I urge listeners not to listen to this while driving or operating heavy machinery because you're just asking for a disaster. Songs like The Girl With The Flesh Colored Crayon and Prue Lewarne are one-way tickets into the arms of Morpheus. Only the constantly high-pitched3x2 (Exit) gets on my nerves and I often find myself skipping this track, but it remains a beautiful number if you can handle the high frequencies. Too bad the duo have never worked together since this one.
