Album Cover

Finally an album worthy of the name and imagery of Angelblood. It's crude, primal and creepy as heck. When the guitar riffs come in, they are heavy, full of treble and rapid like hell. The vocals are kind of lame (except for Liz Bougatsos' otherworldly voice). This is pretty much the only Angelblood album I actually listen to on occasions. Martyrdom Of Despair and Bellowed From Risen are probably the groups best tracks to date. The black metal factor is through the roof, but is probably too strange for purists (which is a good thing). Fire On The Mountain has an absolutely insane guitar solo towards the middle of the track (if you thought Kerry King's soloing was twisted, wait 'til you hear this!). The already short album ends with an eight minute track of everything I hate about Angelblood: one idea, no changes, no progression, no interest. Well, three of five isn't bad (plus Liz's voice!).
