What a lovely way to end an amazing series. Analord 11 might hold only three tracks, but each one is very different and representative of what we've heard so far. The opening W32.Mydoom.AU@mm is one of those complex, ever changing tracks AFX is renowned for. Although it is danceable, it is creepy enough to make some cower under their beds and those who will give it a few listens are in for quite a reward as there is so much going on in this tune, you're bound to hear new twists and turns with every listen. VBS.Redlof.B is probably the most truly "old school" tune in the whole Analord series; the simple four/four beat, layered pads and funky bassline are sure to make you flashback to 1990 all over again. Great stuff! You're in for quite a surprise with Backdoor.Ranky.S however, an absolutely mind-boggling "experimental" piece which sounds like an incredibly lazy, dance tune for the heavily sedated and semi-comatose.
