One of the oddest releases in the Analord series, Analord 3 feels somewhat sub par for some reason. Not that it doesn't have it's moments, Klop Job and the opening Boxing Day are marvelous examples of AFX at his most melodious, but the music is often so low-key that it barely leaves an impression. These tracks, although rhythmic, are better as background music than a rewarding listen. Klop Job is the better of the two, especially during the eccentric second half of the track. The two Midievil Rave tracks are fun, if freakish, old school dance floor numbers. The first of the two I have trouble getting through without skipping; the track sounds like Perrey-Kingsley having a go at IDM while on PCP, the results are as fascinating but confusing as watching a spider spin it's web while on the same drug. An interesting EP, but it's all over the place and will get on some people's nerves.
