One of the few in the series to include only two tracks, Analord 5 is also one of the most hyperactive EPs of the bunch. Side one's Reunion 2 might start off slowly (and strangely) enough, but give it a minute and you'll see what I mean. You can practically hear James flicking switches on and off throughout the piece, giving the tune a weird, stroboscopic effect. And once the beat comes in, like a huge freight train making the wind crack as it zips by a few feet in front of you, the tune suddenly shifts gears into hyper speed and unfurls at a breakneck pace; beats piling up and falling a part as if it couldn't keep up with the constant motion and rapid changes. Cilonen uses a similar mold, with a ceaseless onslaught of beats and zigzagging noises, but the beautiful main melody manages to keep the track from falling apart like it's counterpart. This is definitely worth investigating, but it's far from necessary AFX material.
