Not having followed the AFX', oh how shall I put it... irregular release schedule for a few years, I missed out on the opportunity to get my hands on this exclusive binder and LP, the first in the Analord series, when it was released back in 2005. Not sure what made me want to hunt down this Holy Grail in James' discography three years after it's release. I had been listening to the mp3s from the series for a long time and even contemplated on simply buying the Chosen Lords compilation, but you know... that simply wouldn't have been well... me! So here I am, 300$ poorer, but the owner of this beautiful collection, a wonderful ode to all things analog, in all it's splendor and glory. The complete set truly is a beauty to behold; the large, oversized faux-leather binder is meant to hold all eleven volumes in the series, including an extra sleeve for the picture disc edition of Analord 10. The golden AFX logo, simple yet evocative, acts as the seal of approval.
