This album is scary and is a testament to the fact that Richard D. James can do whatever the fuck he wants musically and get away with it. This came out shortly after the whole Prodigy fad back in the mid-nineties. Prodigy were known to project a threatening and somewhat scary image and this album feels and acts like a serious finger in their faces. "That's not scary, THIS is scary!" The other songs on this half-hour EP are more twisted than "scary". Some of them are even downright pleasant, like the pretty Flim which follows the monster title track. The "Little Lord" remix of Come To Daddy and Funny Little Man are completely fucked and lobotomizing works while as Bucephalus Bouncing Ball is a hectic little number which was used on the soundtrack to the film π. The whole thing ends with a second extremely beautiful song entitled IZ-US. Very powerful, if short, release by the master.
