I didn't plan on putting this "album" up on my site as I never considered it to be an official release, but seeing as how it is quite different to the later "official" version of Scared Famous, I thought I'd put it up here to reveal the differences. First off, this two CD-R set compiles the original versions of both the Scared Famous cassette and FF>> release. The later re-release of Scared Famous acts as some sort of compilation for both of these releases (confusing enough?) without any regards to which album it was taken from. So basically you get tracks from both albums on the official Scared Famous. Kind of frustrating in a way since there are so many missing songs (many of them are collaborations with Pink alumni R. Stevie Moore). But then again, the quality of these missing tracks varies greatly and well, you know... this IS Ariel Pink we're talking about here, the ultimate slacker, outsider pop musician. You never know what you're going to get.
