A document of their first tour of the USA, Finland's mighty Avarus never cease to surprise. The A-side finds the collective in their usual neanderthal kraut-rawk mode, sounding like the bastard offspring of German Oak and Butthole Surfers after some serious head trauma. The music is so primitive and raw that I wouldn't surprised if the band used animal skins and organs to build their instruments (Texas Chainsaw Massacre style)! The stoner jam session inexplicably comes to a standstill near the halfway mark and regresses into an even more prehistoric incarnation. This is like listening to amplified bacteria eating away at decomposing flesh. Just when you thought things couldn't get any more fucked up, along comes the B side and it's absolutely mind-shattering soundscape. This one is just beyond description and will most likely appeal only to microscopic unicellular beings. In other words: this is pure madness and it's limited to 350 copies.
