Yet another incredible, extremely limited, CD-R by BCM. Only one track this time and what beautiful work it is. Plenty of soft bowed string instruments playing along with a pleasant sinewave and other assorted (and unidentified) rhythmic instruments (is that a can of spray paint shaking?). There's a middle-eastern overtone to the few melodies which fade in and decay throughout the work, very lovely and peaceful; like observing the stars at night after a week long walk in the Sahara desert, hallucinating from the hunger. The drone slowly dies out as rattling noises mimic your last footsteps before you collapse to the ground, exhausted. Well that's the bleak scenario which these lovely sounds have conjured up in my oh-so-morbid brain, but feel free to use your own imagination. It's definitely one of Kneale's most harmonious works to listen date (it might even please fans of ambient music).
