New material had been promised every second month or so after the release of the incredible Music Has The Right To Children, but the months passed by and nothing came. Soon enough two years had gone by and the fans were starving for more so the group threw in this EP to keep us at a safe distance for a bit longer. What we got was not a new album, but it was indeed new material. Not much had changed in their sound, but at that point, that's exactly what was expected by the fans. The nostalgic sounds were still as potent and hypnotic as ever. Amo Bishop Roden is absolutely mesmerizing. This song and the title track, with it's weird vocoder effects make up the two highlights of the EP. Zoetrope is an interesting listen, but it is way overlong and is the only song in the duo's discography that sounds like filler to me. Another long wait for new material was to come after this.
