I hearby proclaim myself to be a slave to Boris and solemnly swear to purchase every single thing they put out no matter how dubious their release ethics might seem. Of all the multiple editions they've put out so far, Altar is probably the most confusing one (although it is nowhere near as frustrating as the release for Vein was with it's two versions). To get a "complete" version of Altar, one needs to purchase at least two different editions of the album. To keep it at a minimum, you would have to get both the 2CD japanese version AND the deluxe triple LP version on Daymare. Since I already had the american version of Altar, I decided to get the two japanese versions as well. This is the later single CD version (which I thought only came as a double CD) and it contains the bonus track The Sinking Belle (Black Sheep), a lovely tune much in the same spirit as the gorgeous (if atypical) The Sinking Belle (Blue Sheep).
