This is once again a part of my "Buy-All-Things-Boris-Cuz-You're-Now-A-Slave" program where I buy a complete album simply because it contains one or more tracks which are unavailable elsewhere. I had already bought the deluxe edition of Rainbow on LP thinking it was the most complete I could find, but of course, the band managed to switch things around ever so slightly to make this american CD edition worth getting as well. Yup! All this for one measly song (No Sleep Till I Become Hollow) and a translated version of the previously available song titles! I find CDs much more convenient than vinyl (I listen to lots of music in my car) so this is a small bonus for me. Was it worth getting this particular version of the album for this one song then? Well, it's a slow and trippy number for guitar and hiss, nothing exceptional, but any obsessed Boris fan will tell you: It's a bonus track, you NEED it! For a detailed review of the album check out the LP. |
