Dare I say it? That this is the best Boris/Merzbow collaboration yet? Yeah I do! These three LPs contain some of the best live material by both artists. It's the first time I hear them being so in-tune with each other. Merzbow refrains from being overly aggressive and keeps his noise subtle and in harmony with all the twists and turns of each track. All of this is beautifully executed on the opening, thirty-five minute long version of Feedbacker which I find even better than the original version, and this goes for pretty much the whole album. It seems like every single song has been injected with an experimental dose of adrenaline, giving them that extra boost of energy (check out the fucking insane guitar solo on Pink!!). Not only that, but the sound is incredibly good for a live recording; close your eyes and it's practically like being in the audience with everyone! Eye-popping, deluxe package and there's a bonus track exclusive to this LP version.
