Album Cover

The psychedelic factor is increased one notch here, the songs are not as fucked up or excessively weird as on Psychic[...], but they're definitely way out there. What can be said of Creep In The Cellar with it's sad piano chords and violin strokes worthy of John Cale? Or the feedback-laden cover version of The Guess Who's American Woman and it's confusingly loud drum beats? This album is for those who wish to bad trip on acid, if Strangers Die Everyday doesn't give you a psychosis, nothing will! I remember a friend saying that he never "got" the Butthole Surfers, but with the aid of hallucinogenic drugs, they suddenly made sense. Listening to this album, I understand what he means. Whirling Wall Of Knives is probably the most potent of them all (the guitar work alone will burn brain cells!). Tagged on the album is the very bizarre Cream Corn From The Socket Of Davis EP.
