More difficult drones in this, the third volume in Table Of The Elements' New York In The 60's series documenting, among other, Cale's work. The title track from this album sounds quite a bit like very early Confusion Is Sex era Sonic Youth with it's atonal and minimalist jangling guitar notes. The next track is pretty extreme noise as blasts of unidentified sounds collide with a sliding drone in the background. Fucked up (for twenty-six minutes) and quite a challenge to sit through! Terry's Cha-Cha sounds like minimalism for kids, it's a pleasant if naive track. The next two tracks are very lo-fi drones, one for piano (it seems) and the other for violin. And what a great ending to Big Apple Express as a neighbor interrupts the performance and shouts: "Shut that off, I don't want to hear that bullshit anymore! It just goes on and on and on! Knock it off!"
