Caroliner, or Caroliner Rainbow Stewed Angel Skins as they were better known on this, their second album is more folk-noise mayhem with nursery-rhyme elements. I am not sure if the track names match with the actual tracks as the band just doesn't make things easier for anyone trying to figure it out. You can just never be sure how many songs there actually are, where the song divisions are, etc... I love the little kiddy voices the singers sometimes use to sing over creepy noise, it just makes the whole thing sound sick. The interaction between these childish voices and the deeper voices is reminiscent of the same kind of dueling The Residents used to do. The band acknowledges that they have heard of the eyeballed-ones, but deny the influence the group has had on them. The similarities are evident, but that's pretty much it, you couldn't mistake one artist for the other.
