A 7" release in a 12" format, well, with a total playing time of over fifty-five minutes, it's pretty fair to say "a single this is not". The title lists Gut as being the second track, but if you look carefully on the vinyl, it is clearly the first track and it's pretty much a drone-noise only number with a strange melody as leitmotiv. Quite different from their often hectic shorter tracks on earlier records. Lower Intestinal Clocks sounds like someone having serious gas problems for the whole twenty-six minute running time of the song. Unpleasant cavernous and guttural noises abound (some of us find this stuff hilarious you know!). Fun to listen to, insane as usual, but just not as interesting as the earlier albums. Lovely handmade and unique packaging as always by Caroliner Rainbow Stand Still Or Fight Beans And Sunstroke (their name for this particular outing).
