Figuring out where a Caroliner (Rainbow Grace Blocks Used In The Placement Of The Personality) track begins and ends is next to impossible! After inspecting the vinyl surface, I noticed there were clear markings to separate the tunes, so I thought this would be a piece of cake! How wrong I was! The track lengths I used are those of the markings, but some tunes seem to go on regardless of these (or change right in between). So fuck it! I give up! Legend has it that Rings From The Awkward Shadow was recorded on a normal 8-track recorder and then transferred to an old wire recording device, making the whole album sound well... like crap! Drops in sound regularly occur, the music itself comes out all thin, trebly and warbling, the incomprehensible voices and instruments sound completely distorted and warped. It's simply fucking insane! Like the soundtrack to the movie Blood Feast played by a bunch of hyperactive kids on acid.
