Sit back in your bed with the lights off and get ready to slowly sink into a state of profound daze as East Of The Sun gently engulfs you like a thick mist. If the deep rumbling bass and odd electronic sounds of Winter Arc don't pull you under, then the grayish sounds of the thundershowers and a nearby street will. It might sound dark and ominous at first, but this is as peaceful and comforting as a warm, late-summer breeze caressing your face and flowing through your hair on a hot and rainy day. I can practically smell the burning asphalt being cooled down by the continuous downfall. Absolutely gorgeous. High Water is slightly darker in nature and more unnerving than it's companion piece. The bass-heavy drone is much more present this time and the creepy roar that surfaces here and there makes this one a tad unsettling at times. The gentle sounds of a river help smooth out the rough edges. This third edition omits a track Chalk deemed unfitting.
