Album Cover

This album is possibly even better then Zopalki (but let's not get carried away), the progrock elements are not as evident, the krautrock bits are more to the front and it's just a nastier album in general. When the drums kick in on the opening title track, already you can hear that this is going to be a much more mature work. Great guitar riff, and no more of this strange new age synth crap (well, at least for this first track). Just some some good ole'Can-ish rock with hints of Tortoise (this is more post-rock than krautrock!) with a strong jazzy-loungy vibe. The tacky synth comes back on Odultept and for pretty much the rest of the album (get rid of them! Yuck!). Circle can really sound great when they push their songs towards the experimental side, but by trying to sound way too technical, it looses some of it's charm.
