Honestly, I never thought I'd find these two bands hooked up together. Avarus maybe, but not Circle. Circle are renowned to have two faces; the math-krautrock-metal side and their completely free-for-all side, so I guess they adapted to Sunburned's more chaotic tendencies for this once-in-a-lifetime get-together. The results from this reunion are a bit all over the place as is to be expected, but I do hear a definite leaning towards the Sunburned side of the scale. The eight tracks found here are weird, primitive space rock formations with moments of pure delirium. Only Yksi Hirvi, Miljoona Metsästäjää sounds like your typical Circle track. What's fun is that each track blends into the other, making The Blaze Game feel like one long psychedelic trip. I can't say I'm a huge fan, but the record does have it's moments, like the brain-numbing Boredoms-like Heinävelho or the demented Tappajahauki. Approach with caution here folks!
