This album is the most beautiful entry in the Departing Of A Dream trilogy. It's actually quite a bit different to the other volumes and I personally find that it works better on it's own. Besides the obvious themes of death and tragedy, I fail to see how all three volumes are linked together (although I am sure, given the time, one could actually write a thesis about these works). As the subtitle would imply, the music here refers to Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo & Juliet with each song being aural interpretations of different aspects of the story. Her Love is the longest track, it is as vast as Juliet's love for her lover, but the jangly guitar notes remind us of the ominous nature of this love. Her Fate and Her Death are much shorter numbers and both are quite dark and sorrowful in tone. Only In Lover's Eyes, the last track on the album, sounds quite peaceful and lovely, a fleeting depiction of what it all could have been.
