There are only one hundred copies of this CD-R and it's a shame as it ranks up there with Airs, The Little Match Girl, Portrait Of A Soul and Evangeline as one of his most enjoyable works. All these recordings are fine examples of Connors' ability to create dream-like music without resorting to complicated studio effects or any extra flashy elements. With only his electric guitar in hand (and a hefty dose of tape hiss and amp buzz), he'll manage to play the right series of notes at the right time to turn his songs into tearjerkers. This particular album seems to center around the bond between a child and parent come bedtime. The love, the fears and the dreams involved are all depicted through carefully chosen guitar phrasings and gentle plucking. Such delicate work demands complete mastery of the instrument and Connors proves once again that he not only has mastered the guitar, he is also one-of-a-kind.
