Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is to The Cure what The White Album is to The Beatles. Both are double albums and both are completely all over-the-place. This is a musical Big Bang from which all genres are explored. Whether it be long psychedelic jams like The Kiss or If Only Tonight We Could Sleep, short catchy tunes like Catch or Why Can't I Be You? and then everything in between, the record simply has something for everyone. It's no wonder it became such a hit at the time (and actually got The Cure on the American Top 40 for the first time). If you are new to The Cure (WHAT!?), you couldn't start with a better album than this. The 2006 re-release finally includes the song Hey You! which had been omitted on all CD editions until now because of lack of space on the media at the time. The bonus material is incredibly fun to hear, if only to see from where each song comes from and how it developed. Not my favorite, but an absolute classic nonetheless.
