Album Cover

The Dead C.'s noisiest album and ultimately my favorite of theirs to date. It's also, unfortunately, one of their rarest. It comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with nice abstract, fleshy artwork and the music within has the same alien-like qualities. There's a strong emphasis on loops and electronics here which reminds me a lot of the work Michael Morley was going to do later on as Gate. Seeing as I was already a fan of his solo work, the similarities made me immediately fall in love with this album. Dec is a great piece where clanging bells and a spooky haunted house feedback wail is heard throughout the song. Very moody. My two favorite tracks however (and the closest thing these artists have come to ambient) are One Night and Fake Electronics, these two tracks are absolutely stunning soundscapes which drag me into their hypnotic mechanisms. A must have album, if you can find a copy.
