The third installment of the DR503 series is a collection of tracks from earlier versions and a few EPs put together. Most of these tracks are of the lo-fi kind found on their earlier albums. If you can hear anything on Crazy I Know bravo, because I can't. It sounds like the band taped everything on a portable recorder, "mixed" it in the dishwasher on high and kept their fingers crossed. Yes it does sound that fucking amazing! My favorite track on the album is The Wheel, there is something incredible about the artsy nature of the track, the way Morley and Russell exchange words, the jumpy distorted sounds. It first reminded me of Throbbing Gristle's creepier numbers like Hamburger Lady. I prefer the later noisier album's by The Dead C. but this and other earlier album's remain absolute milestones in the noise rock genre and there really isn't one that is better than the other.
