Bo Hansson
Although he has only released three solo albums (and also worked in the famous Hansson & Karlsson duo before), Bo Hansson went to be renowned for his Lord Of The Rings album. He is also known for having recorded with Jimi Hendrix, who contacted him after hearing his work. Unfortunately, non of this has been released to date. Even though his working themes are somewhat typical of the progrock scene at the time, his music has a very healthy dose of psychedelic rock and jazz to make it stand out from other, run-of-the-mill bands of the era. I personally started listening to him after discovering an interest in swedish psychedelic music like Pärson Sound or International Harvester. There's a huge difference between the two and although I prefer the heavy psych leanings of the Pärson Sound clan, Hansson does include a few interesting touches which I enjoy hearing.
