Harvester
Hot on the trails of the incredible International Harvester comes Harvester (they were forced to change name when an american company of the same name found out about them). This is their third incarnation after only three or four years of existence (and they were to change again).
While still remaining on the heavy-psych side of the balance, Harvester brought forth a sound that, until then, remained somewhat less prioritized, namely the progressive-rock/folk side. This seems to be the logical progression for the band and it would be something they'd push even further when they were to be known as Träd, Gräs Och Stenar. Don't get me wrong however, they still play heavy jams and some are quite close to the drone-rock epics they played as Pärson Sound, but, in general, the sound was falling more into the realms of progressive rock and folk. It definitely sounds less experimental then they used to and depending on which side of the band you prefer (the more experimental one or the more folk-prog one), this incarnation of the group is where things split up in two parts (not that the distinction is so easy to spot.
