International Harvester
After hearing the incredible Pärson Sound double CD collection, it is only natural to delve a little further into the groups career and check their next evolutionary step under the International Harvester moniker. This incarnation of the group includes the same lo-fi jams found on the double CD, it's still quite heavy and tribal, but there are some noticeable differences. For one, there is a lot more vocals and a lot less drone. The folk influences are also more prominent and their political standing is put to the front.
Less experimental then Pärson Sound, more rock then Pärson Sound, but as good as Pärson Sound. All depends on the mood you're in. Drugs are a very taboo subject in Sweden, but it's hard to imagine these guys weren't smoking themselves up to new levels of consciousness during the recording of the album. The hippy factor is through the roof here folks!
