When I purchased the complete eight volumes of this series on eBay, I accidentally received two copies of volume eight (I had the right packaging, volume seven was printed on the CD-R, but the music was clearly the same as volume eight). I contacted the seller who suggested I contact Matt Valentine myself (he would do the same). After a quick explanation, I was pleased to find a new copy of the missing volume in the mail just a week later. How's that for service? This is the shortest release in the series with both tracks clocking in at just under fifteen minutes. The first track combines the two last tracks from Lunar Blues (the first time the volume number doesn't match the track number on the album). I have a hard time finding similarities between both versions here as well, they sound almost like two completely different tracks! Rollin' & Tumblin' is a weird slide-guitar number.
