Not exactly as wild and out there as earlier albums, but still a very lovely psych-folk experience by the Vermont duo of Matt Valentine and Erika Elder. Their playing has matured incredibly throughout the years and it shows here on gems like Freight Train or Sic 'em Cocola On Me. This must also have been a favorite by the artists as it's also the basis for the whole Heroine Celestial Agriculture 'Digital 78's' series where each song from the album would get a long drawn out psychedelic jam makeover and a single b-side of it's own. The duo also take on the traditional folk tune Death Don't Have No Mercy with weird, barely recognizable results; the vocals are drowned in reverb and the guitar is muffled beyond belief, yet the song's sorrowful essence still shines forth. As always, limited to 99 copies with the same simple packaging used on the last few releases.
