Album Cover

I purchased this CoM release even before it was announced on the net when the band was in Montreal for a show in August 2006. Once again released under The Bummer Road moniker, Rural Dimensions starts off with a few seconds of blues before falling deep into psychedelic muck. The folk roots of the earlier MV+EE albums are practically absent here as the band concentrate on their psychedelic side with such abandon that the results become practically undecipherable to human beings without the help of chemical enhancements. Moon Mermaids, my favorite track on the album is easily one of the most mind-bending tunes they have concocted in their entire career. Another highlight, the final twenty-six minute jam that is How Much Is Enough? lives up to it's title. This one truly is manna for the stoner in you. 99 copies as always, comes in a nice booklet format like Suncatcher Mountain.
