Released as a Bummer Road album, this is obviously still your typical MV+EE effort, but with a few extra artists thrown in. The blues elements of We Offer You Guru have been completely forgotten here as the group opts for a decidedly more psychedelic sound. The fifteen minute long opening psych jam, Suncatcher features many different instruments, including a zither (the intro to the song reminds me of Val De Travers, the first number off of Naked City's infamous ambient/noise album Absinthe). The music eventually settles down into a noisy, oscillating drone with distant string instruments. Kind of dark and gloomy as is much of this album. The half hour long Suncatcher Min continues where that track left off and drags you along until you forget your bodily existence. Disturbing Jandek-like vocals give the song an even darker edge. Comes in a CD-sized packaging similar to Zone Of Domes.
