Oh, Birds!
There is very little information to be found regarding this obscure French artist who goes by the curious moniker Oh Birds! Like a noisier Thomas Köner let loose in a steel mill, these soundscapes are not for the faint of heart. Cold and austere soundscapes act as jagged nails softly caressing your cheeks in a dark room. Every clanging noise, every sudden boom feels as if it could be your last seconds on Earth. Original drone artists are quite difficult to come by these days, but Oh Birds! and his unnerving approach to the sound is a force to reckon with. Hopefully there will be more on the way in the near future.
