Album Cover

The first version of this collection of odds and ends was released back in 1983 on vinyl. The CD version from 1997 adds ten songs, but takes away one song from the original release (a Walter Westinghouse remix). Most of these songs can be found on other releases in one format or another. In fact, one of my favorite songs by the eyeballed-ones is included on this. It was the first song that made me fall in love with them when I purchased the Hell! collection from Ryko. That song is The Sleeper, I've always loved the whispered vocals, and the samples at the end of the song! The Replacement suite, which I had first heard on the "classic" CD release of Eskimo with the bonus tracks, also is a great set of tracks, some of the weirdest by the band (and that's saying a lot). The songs are too varied to make this collection hold up as an album, but there are some memorable tracks that make it a must.
