Album Cover

This limited tour CD-R finds The Skaters in a deep tribal trance. Distant pounding rhythms form the background to the first untitled track of the album as the duo chant along in a sick and distorted glee while alien UFOs fly above playing weird improvised laser solos. The rest of the album is more standard fare: long distorted vocal drones and weird dark ambient sounds. Alongside Double Leopards, however, these guys are the most interesting artists in the drone noise scene these days. The sixth untitled track is another tortured gem with completely twisted and insane vocals which could possibly be what the tormented figures on Bosch's demented paintings would sound like could they be heard. It's a traumatizing experience which you'll try and repress once you've heard it for the first time. The CD-R comes housed in a weird, mini-dvd case with extremely cheap-looking xeroxed artwork.
