Switched On Vol.4? When I sold my Stereolab collection a few years back, I knew I would be getting them all back at one point, but I had no idea how I was going to find all those rare singles and EPs. The release of this three CD collection really made the task a whole lot easier! It collects six singles and two EPs which span their whole career. It also includes a DVD with all of the videos up until this release. To compensate for having everything crammed on only three CDs, the artwork for all eight recordings is also included in sticker format! I would have preferred it if the songs would have been presented in the same order they were originally released (with each work isolated from the other), but that's just a small complaint. Worth getting just for the Fluorescences and Free Design EPs (the latter includes a blatant rip-off of Faust's Munic A), but some of these b-sides are also marvelous.
