Not unlike Kompakt label mate Michael Mayer, Superpitcher (aka Aksel Schaufler) is mostly renowned for his remixes of other artists works. Besides the Supermayer collaboration, there is very little original material by him. The artist is not afraid to sing on his few compositions which are all slightly experimental revisions of the house genre. His work for the Kompakt label have turned him into an unavoidable entity in the IDM scene.
