1-3 has to be one of the most daring debut albums ever to be released. Not only is the music on these records so aggressive it will peel away at your soul, but you get three CDs worth of it (with each CD being it's own album)! Now that's what I call trying to get your point across, in fact, on some of these numbers, it sounds like their trying to drill a hole in your skull and ramming that point in there with a twelve gage. Intense, yes and incredibly cathartic (they weren't going to sound this wild until the release of 7). From the relentlessly pounding drums and weird "audio viruses" and vocal modifications of 1.1 to the chaotic blasts of static noise and far out beats of 2.5, anyone putting this album on is in for one hell of a ride! This second edition comes with different artwork, made to resemble the other releases by the group. Tracks range from five to thirty minutes long! over three hours-worth of pure jazz-like mayhem! Fuck yeah!
