Album Cover

Two CDs worth of completely lobotomizing drones and psychedelic group improvisations. Plenty of insect-like sounds on this one. Much louder than the July 15, 1972 record and plenty more percussion too. If there is only one album you wish to get by The Taj-Mahal Travellers, then this is the one. Not only is it their best known album (being very sought after during the years it was unavailable), but it's got almost two hours of the most drugged-out music you could possibly find. The second and fourth tracks are my favorites as they resemble dark ambient music during some parts. On the fourth track, Kosugi brings out his electric violin once again. This last one sounds almost like ceremonial music for some ancient sacrifice. There is no possible right description of The Taj-Mahal Travellers' music, you just have to hear it to believe it. Very unique that's for sure.
