Temple Of Bon Matin

National Flag

It doesn't get much weirder than this folks! I've been hearing about this "collective" (who's only steady member has been Ed Wilcox - I think! while others have come and gone) for ages now, absolutely loved the band name but never had the money to let me invest into something I wasn't sure about. After receiving this freely along with another order from Spirit Of Orr, I can tell you I've been missing out on something special. There is no fucking way I can accurately describe the Temple Of Bon Matin sound without failing miserably. This is like listening to some raving madman on a street corner while The Melvins and Reynols jam in the background, all of this is heard through a wall of reverb of course and accompanied by random samples and field recordings. It never makes the slightest bit of sense (not even schizophrenics could relate to this), the psychedelic factor is through the roof, it is the musical equivalent of falling down 84 flights of stairs, getting seriously bruised and laughing hysterically along the way. Only listen to this band if the walls of your room are padded.
