Three Outpourings

Of all the Sunburned Hand Of The Man side-projects, this is easily my favorite, but this is mostly because it sounds very similar to what the Sunburned people do: weird as heck psychedelic rock-noise. In fact, had they released this under the Sunburned name, no one would have noticed the difference. Three Outpourings' is very primitive and bizarre with lots of electronic sounds mixed with more traditional instruments played in unconventional ways. Some of their songs are incredibly dark and unbelievably weird. There's no describing just how deranged this all sounds, but if you like your music thick and "drony" then this Outpouring's' for you. The group's music is very similar to my favorite Sunburned Hand Of The Man The Secret In Disguise, filled with crazy electronic buzzes and vocal torture.

I got this after hearing about it on a mailing list. I collect everything released by the Sunburned-runned label Manhand and this was one of their many releases. Hope this wasn't just a one off thing because it sounds pretty great to these ears.
