This short EP was released exclusively for Trans Am's australian tour. It's barely more than twenty minutes long, yet it packs enough punch (and includes enough exclusive tracks) to make this an essential release by the group. It all starts off with the bizarre Funky Guy, some sort of twisted take on radio-friendly pop music. This is followed by the incredibly heavy and pounding Slow Response which would later appear in an improved form on Red Line. It's all good stuff, but once we get to the third track, Surface Of The Sun, the rest, no matter how great it is, pales in comparison. This, to me, is Trans Am's absolute best song ever, bar none! If the creepy/funky intro doesn't do it for you, then the twin guitar solo outro will! That monster sounds like it was extracted from 1982 with the use of a time machine somehow. This track alone is worth the price you'll pay for the EP. The last three tracks are much noisier, but arguably no less interesting.
